Ann Carroll Burgess
Ann Carroll Burgess lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. She has more than twenty-five years experience in the travel industry as a writer, editor, broadcaster and cruise ship lecturer.
She is the author of "The Guide to Western Canada" (Globe-Pequot Publishing), and contributes regularly to newspapers and magazines in North America. Other books by Ann Carroll Burgess include: "Secret Portland" (ECW Press), "City Spots - Oslo," "City Spots - Tallinn," City Spots - Riga" (Thomas Cook Publishing), "Atlanta Alive" (Hunter Publishing) and has contributed to: "Independent Guide USA", Independent Guide to Great Britain and Ireland", "Travellers Guide to Caribbean Cruising" and "Travellers Guide to Orlando" (Thomas Cook Publishing).
Ann Carroll Burgess is an active member of the Society of American Travel Writers and the Travel Journalists Guild for whom she currently serves as Vice President.
